We are not going to write the usual things, which you already know, about their importance and the consequences for those who do not use them.
We know that UV rays do not go on vacation in winter and that during this season it is very important to continue to protect our skin with specific sunscreens!
Here are some tips
The protection should be applied at least 20 minutes before exposure to sunlight
It must also be reappliedoften, about every 2 hours.
Use it even when the weather is cloudy and foggy.
In addition to the face, if exposed, the ears and neck must also be protected with cream.
Also remember to protect your lips, since like the rest of your face, they can also get burned
Use quality products and get advice from experienced people (no friends and cousins) who will evaluate based on your skin.
Curiosity
The intensity of radiation increases by about 12% every 1000 m of altitude.
Snow reflects 80 to 90% of the UV radiation, thus intensifying its effect.
Sustainability
Sunscreens usually have an expiration date of 6 to 12 months after opening. After this time, the sunscreen may not work properly.
What to do with leftover sunscreens?
Use them as a moisturizerto apply even in winter after showering. By applying them on the body, and in particular on dry areas such as elbows and heels, you will eliminate dryness of the skin, which will be soft and fragrant.
Use it to remove residue from stickers, labels and gluesfrom any surface. Simply pass a little on the object in question and leave it on for a few minutes and then rinse. They are also useful for cleaning your hands from ink: just apply a little on the affected part, massage and every trace will immediately come away. In addition, it can be very useful for polishing oxidized metal: use a small amount on a clean cloth and rubgently until the objects regain their shine.
Once finished, disassemble or cut the container, clean it of any residue and dispose of it in the recycling bin.
